Emily has been doing art for many years and last year she even entered one of her art pieces into the county fair and got it sent to state fair!
This is her first year doing Calves in the Classroom. her class in Table Rock Elementary.
This is her second year in the program and Is very involved. she got to go to the summer trip last year and learned so much!

In 2023, Emily faced a major setback when she was hospitalized with a severe E.coli kidney infection. With the county fair just four weeks away, she had to focus on healing quickly while still ensuring her animal received top notch care. Despite the physical toll, Emily never gave up. She pushed through her recovery, made it to the fair, and achieved so much. Tue to her nature, Emily doesn't let medical struggles slow her down. Instead she turned that frightening experience into a spark for her future. her medical flight t OHSU inspired a passion for both aviation and the medical field. This project is a true testament to Emily's dedication, resilience, and unstoppable work ethic.
